Rooshoek Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

This wine is an elegant, classic expression of the variety, grown in decomposed granite and sandy soils in our 5-year-old, north-facing, low-yielding vineyard. With wet winters and moderate, slow-ripening conditions, the grapes develop intense but well balanced flavours. This wine was matured for 18-24 months in French oak and delivers hints of blackberry, blackcurrent and forest-fruits which results in a well-rounded lingering finish with aromas which will become more complex over time.
